Undergraduate entry requirements

You can apply for undergraduate courses through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Find out more from UCAS about applying to university in the UK. The UCAS institution code for the University of Bristol is BRISL B78.

Entry requirements vary for each course. Please check our undergraduate course listings for details of specific requirements.

Applicants will need to meet the English language requirements for their chosen course. Different courses need different levels of language skills, referred to as ‘profiles’. The required profile will be shown on the course page. Find out more about our English language profiles.

Applicants who have at least 18.5 out of 20 in the Apolytirion programme as well as 2 GCE A-levels with grades of A*, A or B (depending on the programme) will be considered for admission to our Bachelor degree courses. Please note native language A-levels will be considered on an equal basis with other subjects. We cannot consider the Cypriot Apolytirion on its own.

For private schools, our equivalent of AAA in A-levels is an overall score of 91-94 plus AA in two A-levels.

For public schools, our equivalent of AAA in A-levels is an overall score of 18 plus AA in two A-levels.

If applicants are applying from North Cyprus, we would recommend looking at our Turkey country page.
