Professor Jenny Kaminer is based at the University of California-Davis, USA, and is an interdisciplinary scholar of Russian culture. She has an established reputation within the field of Slavic Studies as a specialist in gender and Russian culture, the representation of maternity in particular. Professor Kaminer will work with Dr Connor Doak in the Department of Russian on Gender and the body in contemporary Russian culture
