Dr Jasmine Khouja explaining TARG's research

20 July 2022

In June the Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group (TARG) hosted an event for Professional Services staff to thank them for the part they play in TARG's research. Then in July TARG held a public engagement event in Bristol city centre to showcase their research and talk to the people of Bristol about what they do, and why they do it.  Two ICEP projects in the smoking cessation theme were featured in this event - the smartwatch-based smoking relapse intervention being developed by Chris Stone, and the e-cigarette work being carried out by Jasmine Khouja.  As well as communicating TARG's research to the public, the team gained valuable feedback from the public which will in turn inform the development of their projects.
