TEDx comes to the University of Bristol with aim of Forging Futures

With the theme of 'Forging Futures' the University of Bristol’s TED Ideas Society recently announced that TEDxUniversityofBristol will take place on the 28th April 2022 with support from Runway, the University start-up hub.

The student leadership team behind this TEDx event aim to encourage a proactive attitude towards the challenges and opportunities of the future.  Talks will range from cybersecurity and regenerative finance to meditation and social policy, all which aim to convey constructive ideas to provide a more hopeful vision of the future.

The first of which, just announced is Ryan Pullen.  Ryan forges futures through fostering a culture of internal trust to effectively defend against cyber-threats and protect organisations globally. Freya Noonan, Lead Organiser of TEDxUniversityofBristol said, “Ryan is Head of Cyber Security at Stripe OLT and just one of six exciting speakers who all share the desire to inspire change and spread powerful ideas towards forging the future.”

“With a joint agenda of inspiring innovative thought that can shape our society this partnership was a straightforward one for us to support” said Neil Coles External Partnership Manager at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship where Runway is based.

TEDxUniversityofBristol 2022 is organised by five highly driven teams of innovators that have been working tirelessly to make the event as memorable, impactful, and successful as possible. 

The highly anticipated event itself will take place on the Thursday 28th April at the Winston Theatre in the Richmond Building at 18.00, University of Bristol.
