The State of Disappearance Project is an initiative by Professor Brad Evans (University of Bath) and Artist Chantal Meza. With sponsorship from the University of Bristol’s Global Insecurities Centre amongst others, this art exhibition brings art into conversation with academics, advocacy groups and the general public. It addresses the key themes of enforced disappearance, feminicide, slavery, genocide, indigenous persecution, and ecology to respond to the most pressing concerns facing our shared humanity.
