This public panel hosted by Professor Tim Edmunds (University of Bristol) and sponsored by the University of Bristol’s Global Insecurities Centre, will explore the question of justice for the disappeared. Featuring the participation of Dr Roddy Brett (University of Bristol), Professor Josefina Echavarria Alvarez (University of Notre Dame), Dr Andrea Purdekova (University of Bath), and Dr Lina Malagon (Univeristy of Wales Trinity), this expert panel draws on their considerable experience of researching and responding to genocide, enforced disappearance and transitional justice to discuss legal and ethical responses to human denial.
