Following a community call in August 2021, the second instalment of CyBOK-related resources developed by our funded small projects are now available to view on our resources and publications page and span a range of topics from gaming to physical systems and visualisations to mapping.

The projects are from universities across the UK, including Bristol’s own Dr Joseph Hallet, a Lecturer within the Department of Computer Science, who mapped cybersecurity games onto CyBOK. This year for the first time we also have one project from outside academia; Mitch Harle of Uncommon Correlation - a data stewardship and intelligence company, has created a visualisation tool for CyBOK v1.1 references.

We also recommend taking a look at Dr Elizabeth Quaglia’s (Royal Holloway, University of London) Learning Together books; Cybersecurity for Toddlers and Cryptography for Toddlers, which have charming illustrations of dinosaurs and eloquently explain their complex subject matter in a very approachable way.
