We are pleased to announce that all presentations from the ACCIS Conference 2013 are now available on the event webpage.

Over 100 visitors including academic colleagues, industrial partners and collaborators from across the UK attended the ACCIS annual conference in September, in which ACCIS staff and students showcased their current research findings and developments.  Presentations by academic staff included the latest developments in Variable Angle Tow composites (Prof. Paul Weaver), ultrasonic imaging and non-destructive evaluation of composite components (Prof. Wilcox) and use of nanoparticles to improve fracture toughness of glass/epoxy composites (Dr Rahatekar).  Postdoctoral researchers discussed a range of research areas including novel architectures for ductility in high performance composites (Dr Czel), novel tow steering technology (Dr Kim), and the feasibility of pad printing for use in advanced composite manufacturing (Dr Etches), to name a few.
