Get creative! Engineering staff and students have access to state-of-the-art equipment to fine-tune their skills. Our workshop teams offer a wealth of knowledge and experience to call on.

For students with the vision to design a new product, the design for manufacture review with our expert technicians will ensure your project is production-line ready.

We are also on hand to make sure you feel confident using the machinery. There is a comprehensive training and induction programme and continued support when you need it.

The Hack Space is a fantastic creative area for all our Engineering students to use.

The 103sqm co-working space on the ground floor of the Merchant Venturers Building has been designed with students to provide a space for hacking, making and crafting. The ethos of the space is one of experimentation and collaboration. It is a safe space to test new ideas and make mistakes!
