Goldney Hall, the Orangery Room;

A workshop series featuring a description of waves as they occur in physics composed of five half-day colloquia, provides a platform for scientists and academics in Bristol to promote, share, and discuss theory and applications of wave engineering in physical contexts including:
  • acoustics;
  • elasticity;
  • photonics;
  • seismology; and
  • water wave theory.
The synergy between the fields could bring about new quality of activities.
Each workshop will be structured to enable all attendees to take part in an open discussion. Leading scholars from different disciplines will give position statements, outlining current practice in their field and the possibilities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Please visit the workshop website for an overview, details of the speakers and further information.
