What is touch and why is it important? Ultrahaptics creates the sensation of touch in mid-air. No gloves - the feeling is projected onto your bare hands. Tom Carter will explain this unique technology that enables users to receive tactile feedback without needing to wear or touch anything, aswell as some of the commercial applications for it.

Professor Bruce Drinkwater - Professor of Ultrasonics at University of Bristol

Can sound levitate humans? Professor Bruce Drinkwater will explain how sound can be used to levitate small objects as well as other applications for high intensity sound waves, such as 3D printing of replacement organs for medical use.
