Almost every aspect of our lives relies on software to run smoothly, and the demand for well-engineered software has never been greater. This talk will cover how to get started in a software engineering career and the many and varied options that it opens up, based on Daniel’s own personal experiences across the publishing, education, retail, travel, television, and takeaway sectors.

The Inside Track Lecture series is aimed primarily at students - speakers from a range of industries will share their inside knowledge. All lectures will be followed by a Question & Answer session, a chance to meet the speaker(s) over drinks and a related LinkedIn discussion.
