Outcome

Thirteen teams of up to five students from across the Faculty of Engineering took part in The Hackathon.

Organised by University of Bristol Electrical & Electronic Engineers (BEES) and sponsored by ARM.

The Faculty of Engineering ​is​ ​hosting a 24 hour ​hackathon​ on 31 ​January​ 2015.  An opportunity to ​work with students​ ​from across the Faculty to​​ ​compete for awesome prizes.  Each member of the winning team will take home a pebble smartwatch and there are several runner up prizes of a chromecast​ each​!  

ARM is sponsoring this event, donating  an ARM mbed development board to each team​,​ which you ​will keep after​ the event.  In previous years teams have made anything from​ robotic arms,​ quadcopters to ​S​udoku solvers! 

The judging will be​ carried out​ by a panel of selected industry representatives ​alongside everyone's favourite lecturers.

There will be free pizza and drinks for dinner on Saturday ​and free Boston Tea Party breakfast on Sunday morning.
