Digimakers (for under 18s)

7 February 2015, 10.00 AM - 7 February 2015, 4.00 PM

University of Bristol, Merchant Venturers Building, Woodland Rd, Clifton BS8 1UB

Digimakers is a series of hands-on workshops all about ‘making’ in the digital age. From programming software to hacking hardware they will show you more ways to have fun with technology.

Find out how to make your very own electronic instrument, create a game or build a web app. Or, if you have a Raspberry Pi but are not quite sure what to do with it, come along to the drop in centre where our team of helpers will show you how to get started.

Sessions are aimed at 12 - 18 year olds, with the exception of Intro to Python for Girls and the Raspberry Pi drop-in which are open to all ages.

Please visit the Eventbrite webpage to book onto sessions.

These events are an on-going collaboration between the British Chartered Institute for Computing (BCS), the University of Bristol’s Faculty of Engineering and web and mobile development agency Simpleweb.
