Centre for Research in Health and Social Care Annual Lecture 2015

23 April 2015, 6.00 PM - 23 April 2015, 7.00 PM

Professor Andy Haines, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

Room 2D3, Priory Road Complex, BS8 1TZ

Developing policies to address climate change and improve health

Climate change already affects human health, through malnutrition, the impacts of extreme weather events, and the geographical reach of some diseases. Professor Haines argues that policies for transport, energy, food and agriculture, housing and health sectors could have benefits for both health and the environment.
