The STEM Outreach Community has been created to provide students and staff with the opportunity to complete subject specific outreach work with schools.

The community has been designed to provide those interested in outreach with the opportunity to share ideas, create and design activities, support local schools and raise the profile of STEM projects.

Completing outreach work will not only provide you with valuable work experience and essential skills but it may also help you to gain further funding for research projects that you are completing as it is an integral part of public engagement.

Initial meetings are going to be held:

  • 7 October 5pm (Physics Building B16/17 - Enderby Rooms)
  • 9 October 12.30pm (Queens Building 1.40 - Pugsley Lecture Theatre)
