Library services
The Faculty of Engineering has its own Subject Librarian and library - the Queen's Building Library.
As well as providing comfortable and quiet study space and a print collection covering all disciplines and topics in Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, the Library offers a wealth of online resources in the form of ebooks, electronic journals, and databases to support your learning and research. Books and resources recommended for your courses will be made available via the Library, and you can discover and search our resources online.
Your Subject Librarian is available for 1:1 and group support to answer any questions you might have about the library and how it can support your studies and research. You can find their contact details and a whole host of other useful information on the Library's Subject Guides . There’s a separate guide for each of the engineering disciplines taught here at Bristol, all of them specifically designed to help you find the information and resources you need.
Borrowing from the library: Undergraduates and taught postgraduates may borrow 40 items from the library at any one time. Staff and research postgraduates may borrow 75 items at any one time. Items are automatically renewed unless requested by another library user.
