More than 1,000 students achieve the PLUS Award each year, which rewards extracurricular activity, but only eight go on to win an Outstanding PLUS Award. OPA winners were selected by a panel of external judges, comprising of employability experts and professionals from varying sectors.
As the founder of Cribster, Daniel is enhancing the university experience by transforming how students find compatible flatmates. Described as the 'Tinder for Flatmate Finding', his innovative platform addresses a real-world problem and positively impacts students' lives everywhere.
Daniel said, 'The Bristol Plus award has been a very rewarding process, during which I learnt several new skills relevant to my current project. For example, the Bristol Futures' Innovation and Enterprise Course' was particularly useful. I am very grateful to Professor Tansy Jessop (the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Students) and the other judges for believing in Cribster and awarding me the prestigious Outstanding Plus Award. I am very excited to continue working on and improving Cribster in the future!'
Congratulations to all the other outstanding and worthy students who won PLUS Awards too.
