Title: Exploring the missing samples from the 1979 eruption of Soufriere St Vincent
Abstract: In 1979, Steve Sparks collected ash and scoria samples from the eruption of Soufriere St Vincent. As well as reviewing the volcano’s history, I am recreating a timeline of the eruption from the samples as I attempt to understand more about the transition between explosive and effusive eruption styles.

Title: Dynamic Displacement: Surface Responses to Diking from a Spherical Chamber
Abstract: This study focuses on the observable transition of surface displacement from a Mogi to an Okada source. Using analytical and analogue experiments, the aim is to understand the timeseries of surface displacement of an inflating chamber and propagating dike, under the influence of variable magma viscosities
