Browse and enrol onto training sessions run by the Digital Education Office (DEO) by logging into Develop and using the topic Learning and Teaching, or enter "Digital Education Office" in the search box.
All our training sessions are designed to support online teaching, learning and assessment for academic staff, professional services staff and PGRs who teach.
We have developed workshops to help you get started with Ultra, tailored for academic and professional services staff.
Wednesday, 28th of May, 09:30 – 15:45, In-person in MVB 1.11 & 1.11A
This event will complement the ongoing training by providing opportunities to learn about and discuss good practices in Ultra, hear directly from the academics who were a part of the early adoption phase and students who worked on the transition project. Staff from the Digital Education Office will also run a ‘build your unit’ workshop to help you make a good start on your course units for the upcoming year.
Find out more and book your space on Develop.
3–4 pm, Monday–Friday, online
Access the drop-in via this Microsoft Teams meeting link (Monday to Friday, 3–4 pm)
The drop-ins provide an opportunity for staff to ask general questions about Ultra, and to seek help in finding guidance or articulating issues. More complex issues will need dedicated support via a DEO Helpdesk ticket, which we can help you create in the drop-ins.
If you are unfamiliar with Microsoft Teams, see the IT Services support page.
The aim of this asynchronous online course is to provide you with the digital design skills and knowledge to plan learning, assessment, units and programmes for flexible delivery. Enrol using the BILT catalogue on Develop.
