Kings Series:
4 times a year we head off to Gloucester dry ski slope to engage in some
racing. All of the western universitys are present, including UWE, and it
always turns out to be a party, with fancy dress compulsary and bottles
of lambrini being dished out to winners and loosers alike. Last year we
had a some great results and managed to come out on top in the south west
regional league, so it's up to us to keep the team on top this year!! Dont
forget your mr sheen !!!
BUDS:
The British University Dry Slope Championships has been and gone this
year, but don't dispair, BUDS will be back at Hillend dry ski slope, Edinburgh,
in November 2008. With over 1000 competitors this is the largest dry slope
competition in the world, with slope side DJ's, bars, sponsors stands
and some of the highest quality freestyle and racing competition you will
ever see.
All to be followed up by a massive ball and after party in Edinburgh,
featuring bands, DJs and a hugely overstaffed, under priced bar.
