Online Workshop: Measuring Transverse Strength

20 October 2022, 2.00 PM - 20 October 2022, 3.00 PM

After four successful workshops on defining strangth and measuring tensile, compression and shear strength, we are now organising out 5th workshop on Thursday 20th October 2022 at 2pm GMT.

This workshop focuses on measuring transverse strength of UD plies in static tension or compression.

For practical reasons, these tests are often performed on multidirectional laminates. Research that sheds lighr on how other plies influence transverse strangth is therefore also welcome, but the focus should be on the basic strangth rather than laminate behaviour.

  • Topic Measuring transverse strength of UD plies in static tension or compression
  • Date 20th October, 2022
  • Time 2pm-5pm GMT
  • Fee & audience Free and open to all
