Opening summer term 2022 the new school and learning experience at the Roman Baths in Bath will offer an educational visit like no other. 

Our new programme will offer a range of teaching sessions focusing on Roman daily life. Students will be able to handle Roman objects from the museum’s collection and investigate historical sources.  

All sessions are linked closely to the curriculum and cover:

• Roman bathing
• Religion and belief
• Latin language
• Life in Roman Britain 
• Our all-new Branding the Baths session, which offers Business Studies students the opportunity to examine the commercial running of the Baths.

There will be a schools opening event on Wednesday 22 June, which offers teachers the opportunity to be amongst the first to explore the pioneering new learning space and speak to our education team on how our new programme can help you plan a fun and inspiring school visit.
