Bristol’s Brilliant Archaeology event will take place on Sat 30th July at Blaise Castle House Museum & Estate from 11.00 am – 4.00 pm.
This will be a large family-friendly event with many groups participating, with activities spread across the museum and lawns outside. Activities include:
- face painting, dressing up, craft, hands on archaeology, tours, and living history displays.
- Stalls are also being run by Archaeological Units, the Portable Antiquities Scheme, the Young Archaeologists Club, Bristol University, local archaeological societies, heritage organisations and many more.
- Blaise Castle House Museum, Blaise Castle and Blaise Community Gardens will also be open to the public.
