Turing funding for summer programmes

About Turing funding

The Turing Scheme is a UK government initiative that gives grants to students going on international placements. Turing prioritises funding for students from groups that are traditionally underrepresented in international mobility programmes. The grant rates are set by the UK government.

Turing funding at the University of Bristol

The University of Bristol has been awarded Turing funding to allocate to students going on study, work or volunteer placements abroad.

You can apply for Turing funding to take part in an international activity with one of our selected partners:

University of Bristol contribution towards the programme fee

Any programme fees between £1,000 and £3,500 will also qualify for an additional contribution from the University of Bristol. This contribution, added together with the cost of living grant, will reduce the programme fee you need to self-fund to £500.

e.g (Partner programme fee) - (Turing cost of living grant) - (UoB contribution) = £500 programme fee for you to self-fund
