In June, Royal Holloway hosted the third CDT Summer School. This year, the theme is "Making Connections", with the aim of the event being to encourage making connections between the CDTs, industry, and academics.

Through the speakers and panels, they highlighted how one can connect what is done in current careers to their experiences in the CDT. They encouraged networking, and connection making through various coffee breaks, the collaborative research icebreaker activity, breakout rooms based on research area/discipline, and a connecting research interactive activity.
