EACR Conference on Cancer Metabolism
The Euskalduna Conference Centre, Avda. Abandoibarra, 4, 48011 Bilbao Spain
Hosted by the European Association for Cancer Research
The study of cancer metabolism has changed our view of tumour biology. Cancer and stromal cells alter their metabolic wiring in order to meet the energetic and anabolic demands, to cope with external insults, to survive in hostile environments and to alter the molecular properties of the niche they inhabit.
In this context, it is not surprising that genomic and cellular signalling perturbations have profound consequences on the metabolic landscape.
Topics to be covered:
- Metabolic reprogramming in cancer beyond anabolism
- Metabolic transformation in cancer cells / Metabolic signalling in cancer
- Metabolic cross talk in the tumor microenvironment
- Metabolic regulation of gene expression
- Immune cell metabolism in cancer
- Nucleotide metabolism and cancer
- Metabolic approaches to therapy
- Systemic metabolic changes and cancer progression
Abstract submission closes 5 August 2024
