Rachael Gooberman-Hill - Executive Director
Rachael has been Director of the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute since August 2017. She is Professor of Health and Anthropology and is committed to interdisciplinary health research. Her vision for the Institute centres on supporting excellent research that has real impact on health.

Nina Couzin - Institute Manager
Nina manages the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute by developing and supporting a broad range of activities and programmes of work to facilitate research across disciplines to improve health. Nina has a background in Physical Sciences and scientific publishing, and is particularly interested in how new knowledge is translated into real-world impact.

Jo Barrell - Senior Communications Officer
Jo manages communications for the Institute. She has 20 years’ experience working in PR and communications for third sector organisations focusing on health and wellbeing.
