Conference and Research Funding

Postgraduate research students who require financial support for either a conference they wish to attend or other research activities/expenses are eligible to apply for funding from the Conference and Research Fund.

Funding is generally limited to two applications and £500 per academic year (£250 per year for part-time students). Priority consideration may be given to first applications.

Please note: The academic year relates to the budget year, which is 1 August to 31 July.

Applications should be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the research activity to ensure all approval and booking processes can be completed in time. Applications submitted after expenditure has been incurred cannot be considered.

Applications are considered on a rolling basis and will usually be responded to within three working days.

To apply for support from this fund an application form should be completed and submitted by email to artf-pgrstudentexperience@bristol.ac.uk.

All applications must be supported and signed by your supervisor.
