In this online Screen Research @ Bristol event, we'll be having a conversation about port cities and their intersections with the moving image. We'll be discussing the conceptual and poetic pull of the port on memory, on bodies, and on filmmaking practices through to the port's infrastructural power within cinematic representation and on communities of filmmakers in port cities. 

Charlotte Crofts (University of the West of England), Paul Merchant (University of Bristol), and Adam O'Brien (University of Reading) will be in conversation with Angela Piccini (University of Bristol).
