Boeing Futures Scholarship

This scholarship is part of the Futures Scholarships. They are for UK applicants, towards their first year of undergraduate study and employability opportunities.

Up to 6 awards of £3,500 are available in 2024/25.

The payments will be:

  • £2,000 in the first year
  • £750 in the second and third years.

We also offer up to £1,000 of funding support for employability opportunities, such as internships, placements or summer research programmes.

Eligibility

You can apply if you:

  • are a UK applicant for full-time undergraduate study
  • have been made an offer (or be awaiting a decision) to start one of the following courses in 2024/25:
    • Aerospace Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Data Science
    • Engineering Maths
    • Maths
    • Physics
  • can demonstrate financial need.

How to apply

Applications are made via the additional funding page.

When you apply for additional funding, you complete one application form but are considered for a number of scholarships and bursaries.

Deadline

The closing date for applications is Thursday 16 May 2024 at 11:59 pm (UK time) with no exceptions.

Assessment process

You will find out whether your application was successful in early June 2024.

Successful applicants will be enrolled on the Futures Scholarships programme. You will be supported by the Futures Scholarships co-ordinator to access career guidance and advice on University opportunities for personal and professional development.

Further details

Recipients are expected to come to periodic meetings with relevant University team members.

These awards are funded by donations from the Boeing Aerospace Company.
