‌The data.bris research data repository can be used by Bristol researchers to publish research data, this is often done to underpin an academic article. The repository assigns a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to each dataset and offers different levels of access from Open to Controlled.

Bristol Blogs

Bristol Blogs is a platform hosted on behalf of the University of Bristol by CampusPress, an education-specific WordPress provider. Bristol Blogs are available to staff and postgraduate research students across the University and can be used to create a standard research project website.

The Research IT team has worked with academics, Bristol City Council and community groups, in the Know Your Bristol and Mapping LGBT+ Bristol projects to support the creation of digital tools, including websites and apps, which enabled people to explore, research and co-create Bristol’s history, heritage and culture.
