More GP tutors are needed for the new year five, particularly in the Bath, South Bristol and North Somerset Academies.

Students will be going to General Practices in pairs for two weeks between New Year and Easter. The students will have passed Finals just before Christmas and with no more exams to take they will be eager to learn about the realities of being a doctor a few months later. It is a real opportunity to influence the next set of junior doctors, and for you to learn from them.

The teaching will be similar to the Year 4 (COMP2) teaching, but there are also some exciting new aspects:

• More observing students consult and giving them feedback
• Theme based teaching surgeries
• Sending students off to find out information and feedback
