Bristol Cancer Research Network symposium on interdisciplinary research on the prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer

The Bristol Cancer Research Network are delighted to be hosting this symposium which will see joint presenters from different disciplines, and even from different institutions, share their collaborative experiences while investigating the prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.

The programme is yet to be fully finalised, but confirmed speakers include: - Sarah Hargreaves (Consultant Clinical Oncologist, Bristol Cancer Institute, University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust) alongside Nicola Cox (Oncology SpR, Bristol Cancer Institute, University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust)) - Laura Ballisat (PhD student, School of Physics, University of Bristol) alongside Jaap Velthuis (Professor, School of Physics, University of Bristol) - Matt Smalley (Director, European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute, School of Biosciences, Cardiff University) alongside Jacob Evans (MSc student, School of Biosciences, Cardiff University) - Colin Campbell (Associate Professor in Mathematics for Information Technology, Department of Engineering Mathematics, University of Bristol) alongside Amy Francis (PhD student, Bristol Medical School: Population Health Sciences, University of Bristol) Other speakers will be confirmed in due course.
