Know Your Bristol meets the Floating Cinema

Know Your Bristol on the Move, a community project in which the University’s Department of Film and Television is collaborating, is taking to the water this Wednesday (8 July).

The Floating Cinema, which will be moored in Bathurst Basin, is showing screenings of a range of short films, including some by Know Your Bristol artist-in-residence David Hopkinson.

David will talk about the project along with Dr Angela Piccini, Senior Lecturer in Screen Media in the Department of Film and Television, who oversees Know Your Bristol’s work on digitising and sharing the Knowle West TV archives from the mid-1970s.
