Researchers from the University’s School of Sociological, Political and International Studies (SPAIS) have been awarded £283, 853 to carry out a 26-month project looking at marriage-related migration.

The project, led by Dr Katharine Charsley, Senior Lecturer in Sociology, will enhance understanding of the relationships between marriage-related migration and the complex processes glossed as integration, providing much needed new grounding for both policy and academic debates.

The study starts on the 1 September 2013.
