The second phase of the Google implementation will be taking place this week with the aim that all staff and postgraduate research students will use Google Calendar from Monday 15 April. This will replace the Oracle Calendar service.

On Thursday 11 April, the final migration of Oracle Calendar content to Google Calendar will begin. The work will be completed ready for Google Calendar to be used by all staff from the morning of Monday 15 April.

No new events should be added to Oracle Calendar after 5pm on Thursday 11 April but new events can be added to Google Calendar, which can be accessed via the login button on the Calendar support website or through the Calendar link found on the top toolbar in Gmail. Support information on using Google Calendar can also be found on the support website.

On Monday 15 April staff are asked to check migrated events from Oracle Calendar as there are known issues with the transfer of some data.

Comprehensive support is available from Monday 15 April and updates on the migration over the weekend will be posted on the project blog.
