BBC correspondent to give German Christmas Lecture

BBC foreign correspondent and University of Bristol graduate, Katya Adler (BA German and Italian 1995) will give this year's German Christmas Lecture at the University on Monday 10 December. The event is free and all are welcome.

After graduating from Bristol with a degree in German and Italian in 1995, Katya established herself as a journalist with ORF in Vienna.  Since 1998, she has been a foreign correspondent with the BBC based in Madrid and also reporting extensively from the Middle East.  She is a regular presenter of HARDtalk.

Her talk 'Being a war correspondent, a woman, a German and other preconceived ideas' takes place at 5.15pm on Monday 10 December in Lecture Theatre 3 at the rear of 17 Woodland Road. Mulled wine and Christmas nibbles will be served afterwards.
