Penguin Archive opens up on Radio 4

The Penguin Archive, housed in the University’s Special Collections, is to feature in an edition of BBC Radio 4’s Archive on 4 this weekend (Saturday 21 July).

The Penguin Archive, housed in the University’s Special Collections, is to feature in an edition of BBC Radio 4’s Archive on 4 this weekend (Saturday 21 July).

The programme, ‘The Paperback Poets’, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the launch of the influential Penguin Modern Poets series. There are contributions from many contemporary poets, as well as from the Penguin Archive Project Researcher, Dr William Wootten.

‘The Paperback Poets’ is broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 8pm on Saturday 21 July, and will be available online afterwards on the BBC's iPlayer.
