Media coverage for world's largest ever cleft lip and palate research study

The world’s largest ever research programme into cleft lip and palate, that will be led by the Universities of Bristol and Manchester, was covered by ITV the West Country Tonight, the Press Association and BBC News online.

The world’s largest ever cleft research programme, which parents of children born with a cleft lip and/or palate are being invited to enrol in, was covered by BBC News health online, ITV the West Country Tonight, Evening Post, the Press Association, Babyworld and a number of online websites. 

Professor Jonathan Sandy, lead researcher for the Bristol gene bank, was interviewed by BBC Radio 4 Today programme, BBC World Service and BBC Radio Bristol.

The Universities of Bristol and Manchester will lead the research in partnership with a number of other universities and NHS partners.
