Tania Hershman, writer-in-residence in the University's Science Faculty, was one of three local writers invited to create "science-inspired short stories with sound" for BBC Radio 4’s More than Words Listening Festival, that were then read by Tania at St George's in front of a live audience.

Some of the unique sound effects to accompany the short stories were recorded in Professor Paul Martin’s laboratory in the School of Biochemistry.  You can listen to the programme on Friday 13 April at 3.45 pm on BBC Radio 4.
