Easter swimming lessons for adults and children

Swimming lessons for both adults and children (aged five and over) wanting either to learn how to swim, gain confidence or improve their stroke begins from Monday 19 April at the University of Bristol swimming pool in Clifton.

Swimming lessons for both adults and children (aged five and over) wanting either to learn how to swim, gain confidence or improve their stroke begins from Monday 19 April at the University of Bristol swimming pool in Clifton. 

All lessons are 30 minutes long and taught by experienced Amateur Swimming Association [ASA] instructor, Sharon Poole.

The programme of classes (maximum eight persons per class) are as follows:

  • Six-week classes for adults (£30) and children (£24) start every Monday from 19 April to 24 May.  Thirty-minute slots available starting from 4 pm to 6 pm.
  • Six-week classes for adults (£30) and children (£24) start every Tuesday from 20 April to 25 May.  Thirty-minute slots available starting from 4 pm to 6 pm.
  • Six-week classes for adults (£30) and children (£24) start every Saturday from 24 April to 29 May.  Thirty-minute slots available starting from 4 pm to 6 pm.

An Easter intensive swimming course for children will also be running from Monday 12 April to Wednesday 14 April inclusive. The course is priced at £12, times are as follows:

11 am to 11.30 am         child improver

11.30 am to 12 pm         child advanced improver

12 pm to 12.30 pm         child beginner

12.30 pm to 1 pm           child beginner

1 pm to 1.30 pm             child beginner
