The University’s SETsquared Business Acceleration Centre hosted a visit yesterday (Tuesday 28 July) from Liam Byrne MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, and Jim Knight MP, Minister of State for Employment and Welfare Reform at the Department for Work and Pensions and Minister for the South West.

The Centre’s Director, Nick Sturge, met with the MPs to talk about SETsquared, the benefits it provides to the local and national economy, and the challenges for its start-up businesses. He also introduced them to two of SETsquared's entrepreneurs, Fred Homewood (CEO of Gnodal) and Dr Jonathan Bloor (MD of Doc Com Solutions).
