University springs into action

Over 100 trampolinists will be springing into action this weekend at Bristol University as it hosts the southern qualifying round of the BUSA (British Universities Sports Association) Trampolining Championships.

Over 100 trampolinists will be springing into action this weekend at Bristol University as it hosts the southern qualifying round of the BUSA (British Universities Sports Association) Trampolining Championships.

Competitors from universities throughout southern England will be competing during the day on Sunday 3 February at the Indoor Sports Centre on Tyndall Ave, Clifton, Bristol.

The day begins with the novice section at 8.30 am and ends with the advanced section at 3 pm. Presentations will be made by Bob Reeves, Director of Sport, Exercise and Health at 5.30 pm.

The University of Bristol is represented by Kerry McCormack, Abi Tasker, Natalie Ward, Frances Mckinly, Ellie Rose, Sarah Bransby, Hermione Leech, Charlotte Felton, Pascale Monteil, Ellie Gaff and Nikki Saunders. Four University elite performers have already qualified for the final - they are Benjamin Bruni, Alice Brown, Amy Clift and Emma Pickthall.

Spectators are welcome.
