Martin Partington CBE, Emeritus Professor of Law, has been appointed an honorary Queen’s Counsel.

Martin Partington CBE, Emeritus Professor of Law, has been appointed an honorary Queen’s Counsel.

This honorary rank recognises lawyers who have made a major contribution to the law of England and Wales outside practice in the courts.

Professor Partington was recommended for his work in a number of fields, such as housing and tribunal law, including service with the Law Commission, from which he recently retired.
