Undergraduate admissions

Press release issued: 18 August 2005

The University of Bristol received more than 30,000 applications for the 3,100 home-funded undergraduate places available across the full range of subjects

The University of Bristol received more than 30,000 applications for the 3,100 home-funded undergraduate places available across the full range of subjects from this October.

The university's continuing popularity is due to its international reputation for quality and its location in this vibrant city.

More than 95 per cent of the 3,100 intake put Bristol as their firm choice.

We congratulate all those students who have achieved the high grades required for admission.

Applicants who have not quite met their grades may like to contact the university on the main number 0117 928 9000 and ask to speak to the relevant department.

The university continues to be open to applications from international students for some of its degree programmes.
