Fulfil your fundraising potential

Charity fundraisers can learn how the Internet can help generate income at a one-day course run by Bristol University's Institute for Learning and Research Technology on Wednesday April 17.

This hands-on course, entitled 'Using the Internet for Fundraising', offers a practical overview of how to plan and develop an online fundraising programme.

Professional fundraiser Howard Lake, Director of Fundraising UK Ltd, the website for charity fundraising and the fundraising industry, will run the course.

Delegates will learn how to build a powerful fundraising dimension into their charity's website.

There will also be the opportunity to find out how the Internet can be used for fundraising research.

Skip Cox, the Adult Education Project Manager for Bristol University's Institute for Learning and Research Technology, said: 'The course offers endless possibilities for the voluntary sector in terms of creating awareness, raising funds and gaining support.'

The one-day course, held in the University's Computer Centre, Tyndall Avenue, runs from 10 am to 4.30 pm and costs £55. For further information and enrolment, call Linda Elphick on Bristol 928 7126.
