Location of print resources

The majority of the German collections can be found in the Arts and Social Sciences Library. Use Library Search to find the classmark for an item, and to search for books and other materials.

Some books on cultural theory are located in the Wills Memorial Library.

  • BITRA: Bibliography of Interpreting and Translation - a freely available bibliography of scholarly literature in translation and interpreting. It contains references to books, chapters, journal articles, and PhD theses, and is maintained by Dr Javier Franco at the University of Alicante. 
  • Jahresberichte für deutsche Geschichte - a freely available bibliographic database containing references to scholarship from 1949 to 2015 on German history. Coverage includes books, journal articles, reference works, bibliographies and some grey literature.
