Business School Postgraduate International Mentoring Scheme
The Business School Postgraduate International Mentoring Scheme aims to connect students with an alumni of a relevant Masters programme who also studied as an international student whilst at Bristol.
Mentors typically work within relevant roles to accounting, business management, finance, marketing, human resources, and other related fields.
Most mentors are based outside of the UK; ideally the scheme aims to connect students with a mentor working within a country of interest, within a field of interest. However, we do also on occasion have mentors based within the UK who can provide experience of working within the UK as a non-British national.
Your mentor can:
- Provide insight into their job role, organisation and the wider sector
- Share their experience of developing their career and the pathways taken
- Offer advice for CV writing, applications, interview technique and the skills/experience valued by their organisation
- Share information about the job market in their country and how to capitalise on your Masters degree when applying for a role
