The only option left for a “White curriculum” is to deconstruct whiteness & repair the damage of White supremacy. This lecture experiments with both curriculum objectives. In this seven-hour lecture-thon, Tyler Denmead will read a draft of his next book project that proposes a "microreparational method" for writing curriculum. During the lecture-thon, members of the `University of Bristol community will be eligible to file a claim for a microreparation for any microaggression they have experienced this academic year.

Please register now for the drop-in lecture. On the day, you can either come to the drop-in lecture or watch online via Zoom. During the lecture, you will be able to file a claim for a microreparation through an online form that will be provided to you. Your claim will be submitted to the university administatration. The University will be asked to purchase one of the books cited during the lecture-thon for each claim for a microreparation. There will be opportunities during the lecture-thon for you to imagine your own forms of microreparations.

The lecture will be held at: G25 Reynolds Room | Wills Memorial Building | Queens Rd, Bristol BS8 1QE. The zoom link and further information about filing a claim for a microreparation will be sent to your email on the morning of the lecture.
